LinkedIn Launching Its Own Ad Network
LinkedIn with a partnership with Collective Media is launching it’s own vertical network on Monday September 15, 2008. This deal will help expand the reach of advertisers targeting to LinkedIn’s professional user base to related special-interest publishers. This partnership is also signifies a move in the social network arena of online advertising to develop into it’s own ad network. The objective stay away from the Web’s rush and to develop more lucrative B-to-B targeting and relevance. Later on this year LinkedIn is expected to roll out foreign-language versions and expand into other international markets.
