Publisher Payment
Just to wrap up our last publisher blog note, let’s wrap it up with the payment as this is the most important for publishers. As many publishers have sent us inquiries about their publisher’s payment, I would like to take this time to clarify the publisher payment.
AdOnion’s publisher payment is based on a net 15 period, and you will be paid over the minimum of $50 via Check and PayPal. What does this means is that, AdOnion only sents out payment on the 1st and 15th of each month. A lot of publishers have questions about reaching the $50 but not being paid in this payment period, this is because the publishers overlooked the word net 15. What does net 15 means? Let’s take this example, our next payment period is July 1st. As a publisher you would need to accumulate at least $50 on June 15th in order to be paid on July 1st, these 15 days are what we called a net 15 period. If on June 15th you haven’t reached the minimum of $50, your account balance will be accumulated into the next payment period until you’ve reached the minimum of $50.
Another question that commonly arise is that, I see that on June 10th there is a payment transaction sent to my PayPal account but how come I didn’t receive the money. As mentioned before our payment schedule is on the 1st and 15th of each month. Prior to each payment schedule, internally we will have to validate the payment. This process is usally done a few days before the payment date to ensure that your publisher payment goes out on time. Therefore if you see that there’s a payment transaction prior to the 1st or 15th of the month it means that you will be paid promptly on the 1st or 15th of the month.
Finally, I would like to remind all publishers to login to their account and update your payment information. This payment information is what we used to send you your payment, if for some reason this is incomplete or not updated your payment can be delayed as a result. You will be able to specify if you would like to be paid via Check or Paypal and the payment amount you would like us to sent you the payment and the payment address. This only takes a few minutes, so if you haven’t updated the information don’t forget to do so now.
