4 Steps To Creating A Great Landing Page For Yourself Report
Spring is a time of renewal, where withered trees start to shake off the frost and grow leaves, and when the warm weather starts coming around. Give your campaigns a chance to defrost by using our 4 steps to amp up your landing page and boost your conversions and leads in the process.
The landing page is usually the last place that customers arrive at when they click on an advertisement.
It is the first contact that a customer will get about you and your business, and in order for it not be your last contact with them, here are 4 simple steps to create a working landing page:
Step 1: Finding a USP for Your Product
Every product has a unique selling point (USP) that could be used to make it stand out from the rest of the competition. What is yours? Is it the fastest, biggest, smoothest, tastiest?
USPs are usually combined in your primary headline, but could also be used in the secondary headline. Could consist of only a couple of words, focus on a headline that will catch the person’s attention.
Example:
“World’s Best Suitcase”
Step 2: List Out the Benefits
Once you’ve attracted attention with your USP, you need to hold their attention by giving out information about why this product is good for them. Try to use bullet points to answer the question, “Why do my customers want to use this product?”
Outline all the benefits that your product will do for the customer. For example:
- Lowest price in suitcases so you can save money.
- Most durable suitcase compared to other brands so you can safely bring your belongings anywhere.
- Offers the most carrying space for its kind, with lots of compartments for easy storage of belongings.
Step 3: Use a Picture
Also known as the “Hero Shot”, this is the picture that will be used to give context about your product in use and perform an empathetic connection with the customer or appeals to their aspirations.
Usually the hero shot will be a photo, but it can also be diagrams, charts, or even just simple graphics that are selling a number, like “Buy One Get One FREE!”
Step 4: The Call to Action
This is the last and most important step to creating a great landing page; asking the visitor to do what you want them to do. The call to action may be to buy your product, it may be to complete a survey, call your sales team, or add themselves to your email bulletin; something that you want them to do before they leave the landing page.
Follow these steps to create a great landing page for yourself for your campaigns. Those leads just might be around the corner.
